Cars & Coffee – 9/11/10

Although the number of cars that showed on this somber day was a bit below recent tallies, it was definitely quality over quantity. Several dozen classic and modern Porsches filled the corral, with a few British roadsters and Minis thrown in for good measure. It was a great day for classic American iron, too: 409 Impala, ginormous Cadillac convertible, Chrysler 300 letter car, another Impala, Bandit Trans-Am, gorgeous Nomad custom...

Imports were nothing to sneeze at either: Blue Max BMW with more than 400,000 miles and still looking showroom new, Alpina, a handful of 968s, Dunkel's CGT, Ferraris, Lambos, Alfas...and a Fiat X1/9 that looked like a former Group 4 car. Awesome. Favorite semi-car-related moment of the day was the gal in the custom pink and black Hummer H2 with the crystal toes. Could present a choking hazard in certain situations though.
